 What
will be the procedure once I place an order?
After we receive your
order, we will need you to create a script for
the Actor to read, and any special instructions
you may want to give us (like what the Actor
is to wear, any special emphasis on words in
the script, having the Actor pointing towards
something, etc.). We will verify that we have
received this from you and then we will review
the script and expected performance with you,
providing our recommendations for modifications,
before we schedule an actor or studio time.
Once we have the script solidified, our Talent
Coordinator will book your actor for the video
shoot in our studio. If our talent Coordinator
or Director has any questions for you, like
how to pronounce special words, names etc. he/she
will contact you via telephone.
Once your video has been shot,
our Video Editing Department will send you at
least two fully edited videos of each performance
for your review and selection. After you have
made your choices, we will send you simple installation
instructions via email.
And yes, you can have multiple
Actors on your website, or the same actor on
multiple pages reading different scripts. Each
separate Actor requires a full fee (see special
above), but the same Actor performing different
scripts on different pages on your website,
shot at the same tune time your original shoot
was booked is discounted. Add Actors to multiple
pages to bring your website to life!
How hard is it to install
the Actor on my Web Site?
Very Simple!
We provide simple step-by-step instructions
on how to add your Web Actor to your web site.
If you have a webmaster or a person/company
who created your website for you, the process
will be very easy and straightforward to them.

You will need FTP access to your web site
and basic HTML skills. If you would prefer
that we install the video for you, we can
handle this for a small fee. You will need
to inform us as to which page(s) you would
like the actor placed (URL). You also need
to let us know where on the page you would
like the Actor placed. We will need FTP
Access (user name and password) to your
site. There will be a one-time installation
fee of $69.00 to do this for you. |
These videos ride “over top” of
all the existing images and html code already
on your website, so there is no need to redesign
or make any modifications to your site to add
a Web Actor.
Why does the Actor Video
only play once unless I click the play button?
Most of our customers state that
they do not want their actor to play again and
again every time the same person arrives on
the page where the Actor plays (usually the
Home Page). If it does, it becomes obnoxious
rather than a sales aid. Therefore, for all
our customers, we set a cookie on their visitor’s
computer so that the actor plays only once on
that visitor’s first visit, then will only play
again if that specific visitor pushes the “play”
button to see it again, or when 24 hours go
by, whichever comes first. This time period
can be set for a different amount of time for
an additional cost of $19.
Do these Actor videos
work on everyone's computer, anyplace in the
world?
Yes, with one limitation. Those
people who have computers that are accessing
the Internet via a dial-up connection (phone
modem) may find the video jumpy, or see it stop
and start in bursts. That is caused by the very
low bandwidth of a dial up connection and can
become even worse in locations where the modem
speed has to be very low to stay connected to
the Internet. However, anyone, anywhere in the
world that accesses the Internet with a broadband
or other similar high-speed connection (i.e.
cable, DSL, Broadband Wireless, Wi-Fi, etc.)
will usually see a smooth presentation (too
many computers sharing the same access line
can slow things down, too).
Can I have the player
control panel visible at all times?
Many of our customers have stated
they would like the play/pause and mute buttons
accessible immediately. This allows their customers
to pause or mute the Actor in locations where
an Actor speaking out loud would be inappropriate.
Therefore, we give you the option to have the
control panel only visible when the cursor is
rolled over the Actor, or all the time. If you
elect to have the control panel visible at all
times, we suggest you take time to decide where
the panel should be placed to not obstruct any
important information on your page.
Are there any recurring
or additional fees?
No! Once you
purchase your custom video, there are no additional
hosting or pay-per-view fees. Your custom shoot
is a one-time purchase as long as you continue
to use our video player.
Can I use my own Actor
and/or be in the Video myself?
Yes. Our studio is located in Titusville, Florida, and both you and your Actor would have to make your own arrangements to arrive at our studio. If you are not from the Orlando area, you will need to make your own arrangements to stay in the area. Since our procedures will be new to both of you, our standard Actor rates do not apply. We charge $200 an hour for our studio, shooting you and editing, with a one hour minimum, and then we bill in 30 minute increments after that. You would also need to cover the cost of your chosen model. You will also need to secure a release from your model to use him or her on your website under the terms you negotiate. Our Actors have signed releases allowing you to use their video with no ongoing royalties or restrictions, other than your being restricted to use on one website. It takes us anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half to shoot a one minutes script, so you should plan your time and costs accordingly since you or your Actor will not be familiar with our procedures. However, we will be happy to work with you to create a video that you will be proud of.
